Sandpiper Cove is a 43-acre gated resort located on the exclusive Holiday Isle in Destin, Florida, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. This expansive resort offers amazing amenities including private beach access, five swimming pools, three hot tubs, six lighted tennis courts, horseshoes, plus a 9-hole par 3 golf course. Additionally, the resort includes a beach pavilion that serves food and beverages, BBQ grills onsite, and Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant.

Area Attractions:

If you haven't been to Holiday Isle, you're in for a treat. It's a serene, little oasis in the middle of Destin, with 2 and a half miles of paved trails for walking and biking, surrounded by quiet neighborhoods perfect for exploring on a bike. It's just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, boat docks, fishing, golf, and amusements.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also, for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate-themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest! Great place to stay. Property was clean , check in and out was easy. Easy communication with host. Definitely will return.

The condo was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. It was VERY clean which is super important to me. Sitting on the deck overlooking the canal with my morning coffee was lovely. The property overall is very nice and the Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant was delicious! It is a 10ish minute walk to the beach but the beach service that came with the condo was super helpful (grateful we didn’t have to lug chairs and an umbrella!) Also the beach service was easy… just walk up to the red (office) umbrella on the beach and tell them your condo # and they set up your chairs/umbrella for you. No need to book ahead, but get there early (8AM) if you want front row (ocean view) on the beach. Getting in and out of the gated property was easy and the front gate staff were super friendly. We had a local friend visit a few times and we just called down to the gate to give her name and they would have a temporary parking pass ready for her. We will definitely be back!

This place was Great! Checkin was smooth, place was very clean, and had everything you would need for a nice stay. The canal views were nice with all the different wildlife to see. Turtles, fish, ducks, pelicans, herons……..All from your back balcony! Would absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was a short walk or drive to the beach and we even had an umbrella and chairs included in the rental. The set up was very nice and we were able to relax after the beach. The space was very close to the resturaunt as well.

Nice getaway from home.

We have always loved Sandpiper Cove. This condo was perfect. It was clean and well stocked with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. The shower was big and spacious!We loved it and would stay here again. I will add though if I had any complaint it would be the bed needs a soft topper . It was a little hard for both of us.

Came with a small family and young kids. The lodging was great and the location perfect for us. Made it very easy to walk to pool, beach, and a few restaurants.
Host was very responsive. We had a couple small maintenance things come up and the immediately addressed them with no impact to our stay.

Perfect stay in this amazing condo!

Zero complaints and ultimate praise for this lovely condo! It has everything you would need and then some. The owners have included nice extras like two pickleball sets, a soft-sided cooler to use at the beach and FREE beach service! We will definitely stay in this unit again.

Gem on the canal

My wife and I have stayed at the Sandpiper approximately 8 times so far and found this unit to be the best so far. Extremely clean and well thought out with the details. We normally don't care too much about the decor as long as the unit is very clean but this unit was decorated perfectly so that was a bonus. It had everything we needed as we cook in most nights and staying on the canal was entertaining in itself. The unit is also centrally located within the resort so easy access to everything and not a long walk to the beach. We would not hesitate to rent this unit again.

great find!

I loved staying here! The photos of the unit are exactly as described. The bed is also huge! The condo is situated in a private, gated complex with private beach and has a beautiful view. I brought my dog and we had no issues. There are multiple dog stations with bags and bins for trash and leashes are enforced. The complex is walkable to multiple stores and restaurants which is a huge bonus. I would absolutely stay here again!

The property was the right size. Price point was reasonable for the length of stay and the property as described. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

First I’d like to start out with how clean the place was when we first walked in. Me and my husband agree it’s a very nice spot and the balcony a good view of the canal. We had such a great time! & The host was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions. Will most likely book with them again!
