Disappointed in Condo but the general facility was fantastic!
We rent beach condos several times a year and mostly Stay on the beach. The view of the bay and pool was lovely (4 and half stars) no breeze whatsoever! Other buildings may be blocking some of the breeze and it was pretty still during out visit. Beach views are much better for breezes and that's what we love! I give the balcony the highest rate over the entire unit. We were uncomfortable for most of our time in the condo. (Husband, wife, 15 & 16 year old girls). We had the room closest to the living room with a king size bed and a walk in shower. The bed was too large for the room we were constantly having to hold our elbows in from hitting the door to the room and bathroom door when trying to get to the dresser. You had to squeeze by and I am 5 ft 8 , 140 lbs my husband 5 10 168 lbs so we are not large people . The bed was like a giant marshmallow in which you sunk deep into the mattereds whenever you laid or sat on the bed. Once in the bed it was difficult to turn over. The bathroom had no place to put anything , only 1 hook and 1 towel bar. The bathroom closets were locked for private use. The small walk in shower with no seating ledge with a floor made of rocks and stones which were very uncomfortable to our feet. Both my husband and I had to put a wash cloth to stand on so our feet would not ache. The living room Had a comfortable sofa but a very cheap rug that constantly pulled up and we were struggling to keep it down whenever we were using the room. The evening sun comes through the sheer curtains at the right hand side of the window and it blinds every spot on the sofa for about 30 minutes. The sofa and two chairs are crammed in the small living room where the back of the sofa allows 5 inches from the dining room chairs. In order to sit around the dinning room Table you have to move the sofa up towards the center of the liv room or remove the two bar stools so you can get to the table. The kitchens appliances all worked well but there was a gross lack of cooking ware. I brought my own pots for special items on our menu but overall I give it a 2 on cookware. There wasn't a good can opener, hand held openers only and they were rusty . Plenty of plates and dinnerware. Coffe pot was ok, nothing spectacular . Washer and dryer tiny but gets the job done. The lint filter was weird whereas I could empty the lint from the basket but more lint seem to pile up outside the basket on the main internal frame of the dryer. The room in the front had a much firmer mattress with a bathroom that provided a little more space to put things. The lineau was very hot and basically could only be used to put wet towels and things to dry out on. It's a shame because there were two nice cushioned chairs that looked comfortable to sit on. There were no cushions for any of the patio furniture . The patio table chairs were bearable but the lounge chairs were useless, Just took up valuable space. Overall for our near $3.000 for the week that included maid, taxes. Parking etc... We felt the owners should spend some of the rent money into upgrading and making the condo more comfortable.

Ooh la la Sunsets
This is a beautiful unit with a gorgeous sunset each and every day of your stay. You will love the amenities of this unit! Beautiful kitchen, gorgeous master bath, stylish furnishings and linens throughout along with very comfortable beds for a great nights beach sleep. Wake to view boats as they head out for a day in the gulf. The pools at Destin Pointe are fabulous and the trolley to the beach can’t be beat. Love this location to be in the center of all your favorite places in Destin. Can’t wait to stay here again.

This was a great place for the whole family, very nice. Plenty of room, and it was 7 of us that stayed. Nice kitchen, grilling area outside. Pool area never crowded. Nice beach area. Perfect for family
