Did someone say rodeo and fishing all in the same sentence? Yes, we did, and we are excited to say that the Destin Fishing Rodeo has returned. Join in the 73rd Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo that is taking place from October 1st through the 31st, 2022. The event will begin at 10:00 am and end at 7:00 pm each day and will be on the docks behind AJ’s Seafood & Oyster House. There are even events the kids can take place in, making this event fun for the whole family!

Gulfarium’s 3rd Annual Croctoberfest

If you’re looking for something a little different to celebrate this year, head to Gulfarium to help celebrate their 3rd annual Croctoberfest. This year it will be held on October 15th & 16th, 2022, and it’s something you’ve never been to before. At the croctoberfest, you’ll have the opportunity to meet Magnolia, their albino alligator, which is cool. You can do other things this year: hold an alligator, learn about their feeding schedules, and learn a little more about crocodiles. There will even be items created by our special guests available for purchase. For the adults, if you’re looking to celebrate with a drink or two, you’re in luck. Purchase a wristband during your visit, where you’ll be able to sample craft brews from local breweries. A portion of all proceeds from this event will be donated towards their crocodilian conservation.
