Ronald Mcdonald House Family Reunion

Come out and support the Ronald McDonald House. They will be hosting a kick-off for their $5 million capital campaign to build a new 20,500 square foot, 26 bedroom home in Pensacola.

The home will enable up to 551 additional families a year to stay there to be near their sick child hospitalized at area hospitals in Pensacola. There will be a reunion of many area families who have stayed in the original Ronald McDonald House facility. There will be fun activities and happenings for kids in Destin Commons’ Center Plaza.

The 6th annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic (ECBC) is Northwest Florida Gulf Coast’s classic, family-style billfish tournament at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s Baytowne Marina, June 26-29. ECBC is Destin’s only World Billfish Series-sanctioned event, awarding more than $1 million in 2007. ECBC gives serious angling teams their shot at winning a royal pay-off while receiving the royal treatment from event hosts and sponsors.
